The research, published in Frontiers in Education, used a mixed-methods approach combining experimental data with in-depth interviews of 25 pre-service teachers. Content analysis revealed six specific ways students benefited: the technology grabbed their attention, provided personalized learning paths, reduced frustration, increased task completion, encouraged sharing, and fostered healthy competition among peers.
