Advanced math skills have been overlooked for many years, but colleges are expecting more out of students today. The Utah House just passed a bill requiring high school students to demonstrate advanced mathematical skills before graduation. The educational bill, known as SB196, received Utah House approval, and it will go to the Senate and Governor for approval.
