Alternative math program called BEAM
BEAM, or bridge to enter advanced mathematics, is a program for children who attend schools that have large populations of low income to enter advanced math programs. In schools with at least 75% of children utilizing reduced cost lunch, students qualify for entrance into math programs and also get assistance with college applications.
