North Dakota teachers are learning more effective instructional methods this summer. While some teachers spend their summers relaxing, these teachers are learning strategies to become more interactive and efficient in their classroom. This is the second year of this five year program funded by a grant and other local funding.

Teachers spend summer learning programs and activities to be focused on math and science.
There has been positive buzz in the teaching community about many of the enrichment activities focused on math and science learning. One activity involved animals at a North Dakota zoo, and one teacher was so enthusiastic they have already decided to use the same activity in their classroom. The program is ongoing and North Dakota teachers can apply to be a part of the coming year.
