Mothers Educational Advocacy is a 501 (C)3 nonprofit organization which helps families to navigate through the processes of special education. Every child receiving special education services must have an IEP.
According to the law, every kid that receives a special education service must also have what is known as an (IEP) or an Individualized Education Plan. The Individual Education Plan identifies the individual learning goals and also establishes the frameworks in order for these particular individual goals to be met. This education plan is created by a team of individuals which can include one or both parents.
