I believe that this article is hitting very close to home for most of us. Our public school systems can definitely learn a thing or two from discussing and taking options from parents of children who attend this school. Reading and Math are not the only subjects in which children and school systems should be classified on.

Reading and math are not the only important subjects for students.
As important as reading and math are in today’s society, art, music and health classes are equally important. These elective classes are actually more important in my opinion because they teach students life lessons that will be carried through to their adult life. Our students need to be more educated in these specific areas.
