The learning environment is a crucial place for those who suffer from dyslexia and it needs to be taken seriously having dyslexia impacts educational performances in the learning environment. The effects of dyslexia can often worsen due to stress. On average, 1/10 Americans suffer from dyslexia. Dyslexia leads to children having severe difficulties understanding in this environment.

Having dyslexia prevents children learning in the classroom, students and staff gaining qualifications, job-seekers from accessing training or getting employment, and staff for applying for promotions. Usually a few tests are needed to do on those to determine if they suffer from dyslexia and ways to help those to deal with it.
