Making this process more fun and modern is the key. Using more technology and getting with the times is the best way to go now a day. The students make QR codes and YouTube videos. The parents are given apps to help them through the school year. It takes the stress off of the teachers.

When a parent misses this yearly meeting, it can be frustrating when they ask a question that the teacher had already discussed prior. Sending out URL of the discussion can help. Anything that will make the school year run smoothly and efficiently will be appreciated. Parents are kept up to date with ways of technology.
