This article discusses how technology, specifically social media and digital devices, have transformed the way education is delivered to students. Colleges and universities are accommodating this shift by increasing online course offerings and resources (i.e. E-textbooks, software). Integrating technology into the learning environment is essentially creating classrooms without borders, where students and educators share ideas and knowledge without the confines of “brick-and-mortar” institutions.
