Music has a greater effect on the brain, than one may realize. Music can predict whether kids are greater achievers later in life. It is a known fact that when music is introduced at a very young age, children learn anywhere from discipline to just participation in other activities. It is believed that if children understand music, it opens up their minds to learning in general. Many schools are cutting funding for music classes; and hopefully they will realize that music must be kept as part of school based education in order to help children excel.
