One morning she loaded all her kids up into her vehicle to take them to school. According to her, it was an awesome morning. All the kids were in the van on time and nobody had forgotten anything. Upon arriving at her son’s school she noticed something very strange. There were no other children at the school. She had forgotten that day was a teachers workday. She had already given him his medicine for the morning. So by circumstance, she was able to watch her son under the influence of his ADHD medicine. She noticed that he was still a very energetic child running and playing, but one thing was very different he did not make impulsive loud noises on this day. Additionally, they sat down and played chess which is something they usually do not play together. She was amazed at how he carefully analyzed each move as they played. So apparently medication can have huge positive effects on a child with ADHD.
