When someone reads, “math is fun”, does the image of a quiet classroom, teacher seated at their desk, and an equation remained unanswered on a plain black and white paper appear? At a Washington elementary school, the word math may garner sweeter memories. In an attempt to make math more enjoyable a unique Easter egg hunt was held. Students were given an equation and tasked to find the egg with the correct solution to the problem. Within the egg is another equation and the scavenger hunt continued. At the completion of the hunt victory never tasted so sweet.
