Students are finding fun in math. The Unified School District of Los Angeles is using a grant to stimulate thinking in the math classroom. Instead of traditional math the students are using data science to stimulate thinking (within the Common Core Curriculum which was adopted by the school district recently). Learning statistics in a real world scenario has benefitted the students and sparked a renewed interest in math.
