A new tool for teaching math (an ed-tech program) has been developed by a pair with programming/business backgrounds for use in schools. The platform is called “Front Row Education” and is designed to allow each student to progress at their own pace through material developed by teachers. It’s a multimedia curriculum (available for use on paper as well as devices in the classroom). Since 2013 the program has expanded into 16,000 schools, and the pair is now working on developing a new product that emphasizes inquiry-based learning.
