What if students attended a virtual lecture at home and did their assignments at school with the help of their teacher? It’s certainly a flip of the traditional classroom approach!
However, Utah Junior High School, experimenting with ways to improve their students’ math skills, feels this “flipped classsroom” works especially with certain topics. They feel it also helps since Utah transitioned to having no textbooks–the video acts as the textbook that the student can check and refer back to.
