The McCook Public School District plans to launch the new $180k math program for the 2016 school year. The new program will provide new books, computer software, and new ideas and understanding of math concepts. The goal is to enable students to grasp all concepts involved with solving the problem, not just arriving at the answer. The school system is planning to hold an open house to address and alleviate parental concerns regarding the new program and offer ways the parents can still assist with homework.
