The article states the results of a study done in pre-k classrooms in one of Virginia school districts. Specifically, researcher’s findings concerning the use of the “My Teaching Partner – Math/Science” curricula designed to boost young student’s math and science abilities, which should greatly enhance the children’s later academic success. The lesson plans focus on very short activities and equally short demonstration videos that should not overly tax pre-k attention spans. The studies are ongoing and will continue for the next two years in other parts of the country.
