Learnovate, a global future of work and learning research hub based at Trinity College Dublin, has launched the Responsible AI for Learning (RAIL) initiative. This initiative aims to guide the safe, fair, and transparent use of AI in education, aligning with learning outcomes and the EU AI Act.

The RAIL initiative was developed in response to the need for a collective interpretation of the AI Advisory Council’s guidelines on the use of AI in education. Learnovate will lead the initiative, which involves professionals from all four education domains, including schools, higher education, vocational education and training, and professional education.
