Healthcare-Focused School Opens in Atlanta

A new career-connected high school is set to open in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood this year, offering students a direct pathway to well-paying healthcare careers. The school, part of the “Redefined” network of career-focused institutions, has partnered with Grady Health System to provide students with hands-on experience in one of the region’s largest healthcare employers.

Unlike traditional high schools that prepare students primarily for four-year college degrees, this new model combines classroom instruction with clinical rotations, paid internships, and mentorship from healthcare professionals. Students who complete the program will be positioned to enter the workforce immediately after graduation—or continue their education with industry-recognized credentials already completed.
