There is a lack of resources in the way schools go about helping students with struggles as tough as dyslexia. Ten to fifteen percent of students have dyslexia and, even with programs like the IDA whom have been battling for more resources for years now, so far schools haven’t been meeting any type of standard to help these individuals.

Making curriculum in that focuses on helping those with dyslexia needs not only benefits the dyslexic child but also helps improve the reading abilities of every day student at the same time. By giving teachers the tools that they need in order to help all students succeed we will be doing everything in our power to help further our following generations.
