The Indianapolis House Education Committee has moved forward on HB 1108, requiring elementary teachers to have dyslexia training. The training would help these teachers identify students with dyslexia early on and give them the extra help needed to reach their potential. 1 out of every 5 children in Indiana has dyslexia. The state would pay for the extra training.
