More than forty million American adults cope with dyslexia. Many were never diagnosed when they were children but help is available to them as adults. Dyslexia is a condition based in language use but the challenges that dyslexic people face is not confined to mixing up the ordering of letters. Some dyslexics are keen to avoid public speaking; others might struggle with recalling conversations. Adults with dyslexia may not get promotions in their career if they haven’t found strategies to work with their condition.
