House Bill 1108 passed the house without any major amendments. The Bill aims to give educators more options when dealing with children who have dyslexia. These additional tools would help educators teach dyslexic children basic reading strategies that will hopefully allow them to more easily overcome their disability. There was fear that the bill would be amended in such a way that it would no longer be able to achieve its purpose, however this did not happen and the mostly unaltered bill will be put up for a vote in front of the full senate in a month.
