E-discovery company Relativity is partnering with legal artificial intelligence education and training startup Wickard.ai to offer legal training at participating law schools that grants access to its RelativityOne at no cost along with Wickard’s AI-oriented programs.

Relativity is allowing participating law schools to access RelativityOne at no cost as part of its Relativity Academic program, combined with Wickard’s AI-focused legal education programming, which will cover topics including AI regulation and how to verify AI outputs.
“As a longtime leader in this space, we believe we have a responsibility to help prepare the next generation of lawyers to keep pace with where the legal industry is today and where it’s headed,” said Phil Saunders, the CEO of Relativity.

Wickard.ai has been partnering with schools in the U.S. and on an international scale to teach AI-focused legal curriculum. In 2024, Wickard announced its partnership the Addis Ababa University Law School in Ethiopia where it launched a two-day AI training program.
The startup has also partnered with Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Southwestern Law School, the University of Washington School of Law and the University of Mississippi School of Law.
