Christie administration stumbles by cleverly skipping over most “hot button” issues when introducing new code for special education services in New Jersey. Other than reclassifying dyslexia as a reading disorder, the code completely avoids all of the issues from last year that angered many advocates for all kinds of special need children. A 17 member state appointed task force has been assembled to review a variety of issues involving funding and management of these special education services.
