This article is about a new program being tried out in Alta Vista Elementary. The program blends fifth grade math students with six grades if they are at the proper level of education. This program has shown to benefit the student involved in multiple ways, its gives them a goal to try and strive for as they try and move into a higher learning level. As well for students learning at the higher level they can help as peep teachers to the new inductees, new students to the education level. This creates many benefits for both level students. This learning format also has an interesting technique as having the student identify what areas they feel the need help in, and then they are encouraged to seek help in the area. This program seems to have beneficial effects on the students and is now being sought as possibly being adapted in other schools.
