The entire student body at Freedom High School participated in a rocket building program, funded by the Patriot Jet Team Foundation. The students designed and built paper rockets. Hundreds of rockets were launched. The height of the launches were then measured using paper and yarn sextants. This program allows students to experience firsthand many real world applications of science, math and engineering principles. The result is that students are inspired to pursue more advanced knowledge, and careers, in the math and science fields.

A screener is a starting point, not a diagnosis. If your child might need formal accommodations (an IEP or 504 plan), or you suspect a vision, hearing or medical cause, pursue a professional evaluation too. That is the only route to those supports.
