Standardized tests are coming up but do you really understand what they mean? By 8th grade 60% of students become disinterested in the math and science courses offered. We are constantly hearing that STEM positions are going to be understaffed in the future and so we continue to demand that 100% of our students to excel at these subjects. However, not a 100% of our students are needed in those fields. Is there a possibility we are focusing on our students’ weaknesses instead of strengths?
