This article talks about unorthodox teaching technique called “Flip Instruction” and its effectiveness. Unlike the current standard teaching techniques where there is repeated in class lesson-home work sequence, this technique utilizes technology to reverse the teaching method. In this method a student views an online instructional video lesson, and then practices problem in class with other students. The main advantage of the improved method is that it allows the students to learn at their own pace, teachers to closely monitor student progress, and practice in a group setting.
