The Hall County School System is preparing to launch its “Big Ideas” website, a site designed to help parents help their children with math homework by identifying the fundamental concepts by grade that each child is expected to understand. It also provides short quizzes that allow parents to see how their child is doing in a particular area, as well as videos and visual tools for learning and development at home. Says one learning specialist for Hall County, the goal of Big Ideas “is really to bridge that gap” for all parents, between frustration and effectively helping their child succeed.
