Dyscalculia, a lesser known learning disability than dyslexia, affects a person’s ability to do some aspects of math. This article compares dyscalculia rates in preterm babies, who were born before the pregnancies are full term, do not have a higher incidence of dyscalculia than their full-term counterparts. It also discusses the difficulty in measuring dyscalculia in preterm babies.
