Students in the Whittier City School District are a lot like students everywhere, especially in the sense that they seem to be not-too-interested in their math lessons. In an effort to get more students excited about math, teachers are trying new approaches to lessons. The approaches include more hands-on activities and visuals for the students to easily understand and enjoy math.
