Speech scientists at the University of Granada have added new data to the ever growing study of dyslexia. Their research demonstrated that dyslexic children who speak Spanish have a difficulty detecting stressed syllables when listening to a group of words. While this phenomenon has been observed in English speaking students, this is the first time that it has been seen in Spanish speaking students.
