Mothers who had conflict-ridden relationships may negatively influence their children. That’s the premise of a study conducted by Gary Glick at the University of Missouri. Glick and colleagues studied teens 10-17 years old according to an article by Gwen Dewar, Ph.D. in a post at the Babycenter blog. The study found that adolescents shadowed the negative aspects of their mothers’ relationships including conflict and antagonism.
