Dyslexia will now be recognized as a primary disability in Connecticut. As part of the new law, teachers will be required to attend additional training to recognize dyslexia and provide evidence-based interventions. These legislative efforts appear to be part of a new national trend to create more dyslexia-specific assistance to students.
