A study of preschoolers and their parents shows that discussion of math and simple arithmetic will help to improve their math skills in the future. Authors cautioned that it was a small study tracking just 40 families. Although the study was small it still seems promising to the participants since the preschoolers haven’t yet learned about sample sizes or what standard deviation means.
