This article involves an inspirational young man named “John Rodrigues” who has dyslexia and dropped out of High School and followed his dream of being a world class ice sculptor then touring the world and coming back to junior college then worked his way up to Harvard University. It also inspired Assembly Bill 1369 authored by Assembly member Jim Frazier of Oakley would require the screening of elementary school students for dyslexia. This would help put young kids on the road map to success for their futures.
