This article is talking about the problems that kids with dyslexia suffer from. Basically, school systems now have a box that can be checked for dyslexia so that it can be added to a child’s IEP program. In the past, teachers were not equipped to help kids suffering from dyslexia, so now they are being provided additional training to assist them in detecting this issue. They are hoping that these added measures will prevent children from slipping through the cracks when it comes to this issue. Unfortunately, many kids in the past did not have this put in place and they graduated with low reading levels.
