Nine year old Leia Schwartz wrote a book called “Dyslexic Renegade” in response to being diagnosed with dyslexia after struggling through her 3rd grade classes, even with the assistance of a tutor and other after school help. She hopes that her book will help children who are going through the same issues that she struggles with. Her message is that dyslexia is a learning style, and not a disability, nor is it a reflection of intelligence.
