The districts attempt to upgrade textbooks approximately once every seven years. Faculty members feel that this will be a positive change.

The push to an improved curriculum come from the fact that most faculty members feel that the old curriculum was less comprehensive and had gaps in education. The new curriculum should foster improved learning and retention, as well as a higher level of difficulty to push students to new heights in their learning.
“The new textbooks that will be coming in will be drastically improved,” Redmond said. “There’s a lot of excitement from teachers about using them.”
