The Dupage Childrens museum is hoping to entice youngsters into learning about math using motion and art. Children can use tesselation, patterns in music, quilting, and geometric patterns to bring math to life. Putting multiple concepts together will hopefully increase interest in math and keep children engaged in fun and innovative concepts.

Children’s museum runs new exhibit
The children’s museum will run this exhibit all year long during normal operating hours. Young children can take advantage of this unique program from 9-4 weekdays, Saturdays until 5, and Sundays 12-5. Multi-concept learning in a paced environment could be key to engaging young students’interest and encouraging success in the classroom.
“The museum is all about incorporating math and science and art principles together. They’re not isolated concepts, so this is a great way to explore how they fit together,” said Katie Edinger, Senior Public Programs Manager at the DuPage Children’s Museum.
