The article discusses ideas for students to depart from the conventional methods of “learning” to better improve their knowledge and ability to learn new materials. These new rules are said to provide deeper learning, better test scores and makes the student more likely to attend university. Two of these rules are to learn from multiple sources, and that it’s okay to fail as it’s just another learning process.
