An Intellectual Disability (ID) is described as an individual that scores a 70 or less on an IQ test. The cause of IDs has been heavily studied in order to discover the cause behind it. Various factors are being looked at as a key catalyst to intellectual disabilities such as undiagnosed fetal alcohol syndrome and various genetic/chromosomal issues; however, the most definable causation has been autism.
