Though a serious problem, dyslexia is highly under diagnosed. Most schools don’t have a standard test to check for student’s ability to read, a fundamental skill not only in school, but in life. Schools are changing their standards and adding a test to check for this debilitating problem. Will the new program be successful?

Funds needed for dyslexic students

Students with dyslexia are in need of funds. Legislature has failed to give additional moneys to school districts in CT recently. It impacts 1-4 students out of a class of 24 and need to be addressed in the future. Without funding, it will add an additional financial burden to said school districts.
