Connecticut’s Office of Dyslexia and Reading Disabilities has launched a year-long public awareness campaign to promote understanding and support for individuals with dyslexia. The campaign, which kicked off in April 2026, features multiple events and a statewide library component.
The campaign includes several upcoming events, including a ‘Night at the Rink’ event on April 18, 2026, and a screening of the film ‘Hopeville: How to Win the Reading Wars’ on April 29, 2026.
In partnership with the CT State Library and Decoding Dyslexia, an Associate Education Consultant from the ODRD will be visiting libraries across Connecticut to share resources and connect with communities.
Dyslexia is not a limitation, but an opportunity to learn and grow in different ways.
