We as a nation need to change the way people perceive dyslexia. The way we do this is through education in our schools. If we can get the education system and businesses involved, we can teach students with dyslexia how to make dyslexia a positive instead of a negative. The first thing is to change the way we all view dyslexia. As with anything, education is the key in this needed change.

Once we educate these kids, it will make a big difference in how we all perceive dyslexia.
Dyslexia is classed as a disability which automatically generates preconceived notions of the person suffering from it – “you’re so thick”, as I was told many times at school.
